Mia Gujer is a Swiss Graphic Designer and part of the design studio kollygujer. Since 2025 she is leading the Weltformat Graphic Design Festival together with Michèle Raez and Svenja Koll
Who?
Mia Gujer is a freelance graphic designer with an interest in critical thinking, colour, form and research. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in 2023.
In her Bachelor’s thesis, she explored the opportunities and risks of artificial intelligence in graphic design. Since 2020, she has been working together with Svenja Kolly under the name kollygujer in an interdisciplinary studio in Zurich. In addition she works at the Bern University of Applied Sciences where she helps to develop the new Bachelor Programme «Transformation Design».
Since 2025 she co-directs the Weltformat Graphic Design Festival Lucerne. Before training as a graphic designer, she worked as a political campaign manager and activist for the left-wing political spectrum.
