Dr hab. Mateusz Machalski, Associate Professor (b. 1989) – Vice-Rector for Artistic Affairs at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Designer, typographer, lecturer and researcher specializing in visual communication and graphic design.
Named Designer of the Year 2019 at the Polish Graphic Awards, and awarded in national and international competitions such as Type Directors Club New York, KTR, Red Dot Design and DESIGN ALIVE. Recipient of scholarships from the Ministry of Culture, the National Centre for Culture and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Author of numerous typefaces, visual identities, texts and exhibitions on graphic design and visual culture.
