Who?
Markus Lange (*1985) is Professor of Graphic Design at the Technical University in Nuremberg. He is specialized in typography, poster design, editorial design, publishing and documentary photography. He is the founder of the multidisciplinary design studio Farn in Leipzig and has been working together with Lars Harmsen on the international screen printing project Poster Rex since 2014.
From 2018 to 2023, Markus Lange taught graphic design specialising in typography, poster design and editorial design at the German University in Cairo, Egypt. He has also taught at numerous universities in Germany, Italy, Portugal, Turkey and Egypt and regularly takes part in international exhibitions.
His work has received numerous awards, including the prestigious Award for Typographic Excellence from the Type Directors Club in New York and Tokyo.
