Marian Misiak

Graphic designer, type designer and researcher of design history. Founder of Threedotstype — an independent platform distributing fonts. Author and co-author of several publications on typography, including the Support Independent Type series. A regular collaborator of the German publishing house Slanted Publishers.

He studied sociology at the University of Warsaw and type design at the University of Reading in the United Kingdom. He gained professional experience at Neville Brody’s Research Studio in London and, for several years, in the Middle East, where he worked with the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates and design studios in Jordan.

His practice focuses on type design, research into visual culture, and experimental approaches to branding.
